Hey guys... around 4,855 EWS houses and 24,660 LIG houses had been planned to be taken up for construction in Dwarka, Narela and Rohini and these are expected to be completed in 2013-14. And in Kalkaji Extension, construction of 3000 EWS houses will soon start and a budget of Rs 30 crore has been estimated for this project.
A budget of over Rs 2,500 crore has been estimated for the 2013-14 fiscal which is 22 percent higher than the budget estimate of Rs 2,156 crore for last year. DDA is planning to complete the residential, commercial and institutional land development works taken up in Rohini, Dwarka, Narela, Jasola, Bakkarwala, Maidan Garhi, Paschim Vihar, Alaknanda, etc. Main priority is the housing sector. It has also been proposed to take up development of 10 Master Plan roads with Rs 140 crore. Few green projects like Yamuna riverfront, Astha Kunj, Satpula lake complex, and maintenance and development of biodiversity parks of Yamuna and Aravalli are also in the line.
