Hi all..i feel that this method is a good one to collect property tax. The sender can send a message by an electronic mail (email) which would be further sent to the respective post office. Then a print out of the mail will be hand delivered by a postman to the recipient. So simple..!!!

Hi Alex..This facility has been used for the first time to remind property tax arrears. Corporate companies can use this service to send statements, announcements etc. by enrolling as an e-Post Corporate customer.

Hi Ananya..every civic body is applying different strategies to collect property tax. Chennai corporation is employing town criers while GHMC is seizing movable properties of the evaders..moreover they have increased the penalty also. By the way..is this service used for this purpose..?

Hi Avek ..i heard that Property tax payment reminders are now sent as epost to the evaders. The Coimbatore Corporation is using the India Post’s ePost service.
