DDA is planning to give additional ground coverage and incentive FAR up to 5 percent based upon the number of provisions made in the building plan. It is also looking to start imposing penalty against non-enforcement.

Soon a list of provisions will be set that have to be followed by those owning plots of size 3,000 square metre and above. An amendment has been proposed by management action groups to the Master Plan 2021 as per which the local bodies should ensure that building plans for such plots have a number of environment-friendly features in place.
