Q: A neighbour told me that there was some protest happening near DLF -I yesterday. What was it about? Anybody knows about the issue?

Hi guys, the protest was made because residents were angry. For a long time, the residents have been requesting for a proper crossing and walkway. Ever since the road has been widened, the residents of the surrounding apartments have been facing inconvenience crossing the road. Even though they had requested all authorities as nothing has been done in this regard.

Yes, you are right preeti.. the same day i had went there on some urgent work. But the road was blocked, and i was struck in the traffic for long. The protesters had put up rubber breakers during their protest on the road to break the traffic speed. They had even closed the entrance to the Qutab Plaza market complex.

Hi Jeet, I had also noticed it last week. It was on last Wednesday i think. But not aware of the issue. A group of residents of DLF Phase I, Silver Oaks and NMT group had staged a protest on the Gurgaon-Faridabad road between Bristol and Kachra Chowk. Traffic was blocked for long time, it was all a mess there.
