RERA registration
Q: I am planning to construct a residential project for my family where the plot area would be more than 500 sq. mtrs. and number of units would be more than 8 but these units are not for sale to anybody or to public

In this scenario do I need to apply for RERA registration? Because I understand the main purpose of RERA is to protect the allotees (home buyers) from the malpractice of the builders but in my case since I do not intend to sale the units the buyer would not come in picture.

Latest Answer: Timely Delivery of property otherwise builder has to pay fine and interest on property. No more change in floor and master plan as builder has to develop projects as per the passed plan, cannot manipulate as per his choice.

Need information about Redevelopment of Residential apartment.
Q: Our residential apartment is thinking to go for a redevelopment as our apartment is 18 years old now.So I need information that
1)What will be the amount approximately to be paid by individual flat owner to the developer? That means which are the things for which we are legally liable to pay the amount(money) to the developer?
2)My current flat is of 400 sq.feet area.After redevelopment if I want to take some additional sq.feet area(suppose :650sq.feet)then what will be the amount to be paid by me to the developer?

Please help me in this.

Latest Answer: I am an occupant of KH for the past 2 years. The builder is good and has lived up to his promises of possession but he is equally particular about payment deadlines something to keep in mind else you will be heavily penalised.
