Hoodi is one of the fastest developing locality in East Bangalore. It is around 20 km eastwards from the City Bus stand and just 2 km from Whitefield, the IT hub of Bangalore. Hoodi has recently come up with railway station on demand of large population which will cater thousands of local IT commuters to travel through suburban train inside city to travel to Whitefield IT Park. Govt has started some local trains to serve the purpose and to reduce the chaos of road traffic.

Phase-2 alignment of Namma Metro with one of its route Baiyyappanahalli – Whitefield (15.50 km) through the locality which odds residential development.

Proximity to Kempegowda International Airport along with major technology parks such as International Tech Park which is approximately 2.3 kms via ITPL Main Road/Whitefield Main Road has been a plus point for Hoodi driving rental demand and providing consistent rental yield in the locality.

Infrastructural Development (Social & Physical) :

There are three supermarkets like Market City Mall, Phoenix Market City and More are present there. Lot of Restaurants also have come up there due to the huge crowd of IT people. The biggest attraction for growth of this place is the ITPL, Sathya Sai Baba Hospital, Sathya Sai Ashram and many software companies like Oracle, SAP, TCS, IBM, Genisys Group etc.

There are several quality educational institutions in the vicinity like Gopalan International School, Vydehi School of Excellence, Shishya BEML Public School and Presidency schools are few among them.

Major issues :

Condition of roads inside the area are in a very bad condition and are insufficiently narrow due to heavy to-and-fro traffic flowing from Whitefield.
