Neemrana is a picturesque town in the Alwar district of Rajasthan. It is a place of historical importance, and has remarkable cultural value. The famous fort-turned-hotel of Neemrana is a 16th-century hill-fort that was repurposed in 1986 and turned into a five-star hotel. Neemrana has been evolving from a small, sleepy town into an economic powerhouse over the last few years. It is still on the cusp of this transformation and there’s immense potential for growth here.
Neemrana is located around 120 km from Delhi on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway (NH-8). This is the only major thoroughfare connecting it to Delhi, but this should change for the better since Neemrana is an important node on Dedicated Freight Corridor between Delhi and Mumbai. The town is also a part of the planned Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor.
Tourism also adds significantly to Neemrana’s economy, because of its proximity to major tourist destinations like Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. There are many tourist attractions in Neemrana itself. Vinay Vilas Mahal, Bala Quila, Neemrana Fort Palace, and Siliserh Lake are visited by many.
Neemrana has a significant Japanese population because of the Japanese industrialised zone. In fact, there are specific restaurants and hotels in Neemrana that cater to their tastes.
