Punawale

Overview :

Punawale is a fast developing suburb of Pimpri-Chinchwad, located in the north of Pune. It is situated in the bank of Pavana river. Pune-Mumbai Expressway is just 2 km away from Punawale. Earlier, it was an underdeveloped village but in late 1990, the village grew to catch up with the vast industrialization and expansion of the nearby Pune City. Tathawade, Jambhe, Ravet, Laxmi Nagar, Pradhikaran are its neighboring localities. It also enjoys developed infrastructure including the Aditya Birla Hospital, Mercedes Benz International School and Indira Group of Institutes in the vicinity. At the same time, Punawale offers quick access to Wakad and has a number of good schools, hospitals, and shopping malls close at hand. There are two main Roads Kate Wasti Road and Tathawade Road passes through the locality which further connects to the Mumbai Highway and Katraj-Dehu Bypass Road.
