A part of ‘Neharpar Faridabad’ or ‘Greater Faridabad’, Sector-77 is an upcoming residential locality. Surrounded by the newly developed localities like Sectors 76, 78, and 79, this locality is on the verge of social and residential development. The famous Agra Canal, which receives water from river Yamuna lies a couple of Sectors away to the west. Sector-77 also lies close to Main Bypass Road that connects the eastern region of Faridabad to the northern and central region.

 

Sector-77 enjoys a fair blend of social and commercial establishments, spread evenly in and around the area. Reputed educational institutions in the area include Delhi Public School and Aravali College of Engineering & Management. Noteworthy hospitals such as ESI hospital and Krishana Hospital also lie within a 5-km radius of the locality.

 

Since the Sector is predominantly being developed as a residential locality, thecommercial establishments in the area are a rarity. Sector-77’s proximity to Main Bypass Road facilitates smooth connectivity in and around Faridabad. 7-10 Chowk and Old Faridabad Bus Stop are two prominent bus stations situated 10 km from Sector-77, facilitating travel within the city. Faridabad New Town Railway Station and Ballabgarh Railway Station, which operate under the Delhi Suburban Railway are situated 8 km from here. Trains from these stations can be boarded to reach various parts of the NCR. Another prominent station lying close to the area is Old Faridabad Railway Station, which facilitates inter-city travel.

 

Air transport is facilitated by Indira Gandhi International Airport, which lies at a distance of 42 km from the locality. The airport can be reached within an hour via NH-2. However, the travel time can increase during peak hours due to heavy traffic.

Another important factor that helped Sector-77 develop was its proximity to well-developed cities like Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, and Gurgaon. Moreover, its proximity to river Yamuna aided long-term sustainability, especially in terms of natural resources like water, impelling growth here.
