Abutting Main Bypass Road on its west, Sector-87 enjoys good road connectivity with the highly developed northern, western and central regions of Faridabad, connecting it to residential colonies like Huda Staff Colony, Friends Colony, Leprosy Colony, Indira Gandhi Colony and Housing Board Colony. Connectivity and Transit Points
Sector-87 is connected to the northern and western regions of Faridabad by Kheri Pul Bridge, which link the roads running in the locality to Main Bypass Road, Kheri Road and Bhudutt Parashar Road. Main Bypass Road, which plays the role of an arterial road in this region, further connects it to parts of the southern region of Faridabad and Ballabgarh. Wazirpur Road, which runs along Sector-87, connects it to Wazirpur Industrial Area and other smaller villages of Tikawali, Riwazpur, and Bhopani.
Public transportation in terms of local buses is yet to be developed here. However, bus stops like Old Faridabad Bus Stop, Rajiv Chowk Bus Stop, and Asian Chowk Bus Stop fall within a 5-km radius. The locals can commute to various localities in Faridabad by boarding buses from this stop.
The two prominent railway stations of Faridabad, Old Faridabad Railway Station and Faridabad New Town, are also situated in proximity to the locality, at a distance of 5 km and 9 km, respectively. Factors for Growth in the Past
An integral part of Neharpar, Sector-87 witnessed development when it was incorporated under the city’s Master Plan in the year 2004-2005. The development of Main Bypass Road and Wazirpur Road added to the transportation infrastructure of the area, inviting many early settlers and developers like SRS Real Estate and Mariners Buildcon India to set projects here.
