Good news for Treasurers! To ensure better efficiency in managing apartment finances, CommonFloor Groups Money Manager is now equipped with Bank Reconciliation as a premium feature under the Bank & Cash section. Reconciliation helps you cross-check entries between your live Bank Statement (Bank Balance) and the records maintained in CF Money Manager (Book Balance).

How to reconcile accounts?

• Click on Reconcile from the Bank Statement page

• Download the Bank Statement from CommonFloor for the required period

• Compare this with the live Bank Statement and mark ‘Reconciliation Date’ as the date on which each transaction appeared on the live Bank Statement

• Upload this filled-up template back to CommonFloor Money Manager

Once you do this, you can see the difference in the Balances – your target is to make these differences to zero – this will ensure 100% efficiency in maintaining records!

Owing to our busy schedule and work, we often miss out on connecting with our neighbours. In situations when we don’t have their contact details and they have not logged on to CommonFloor Groups to check their direct messages, it becomes nearly impossible to reach out to them.

Eureka! You can now send them an invite to download CommonFloor Groups app (from within the app), so that in future they receive notifications of your messages via the app, resulting in faster responses.

With this new app feature, now you can:

• Invite your neighbours to download the app (they will receive an SMS+Email recommendation)
• Invite your neighbours on Whatsapp
• View which neighbours are on the app

Managing Committee members can now invite all residents of their community, who are not already using the mobile app, to download it via a single tap.

On your mobile app, look for INVITE TO APP menu item under Admin features (for managing committee members) and invite your neighbours to a seamless and awesome experience.

This will help you:

• Maximize your communication reach
• Foster collaboration amongst residents
• Track & manage complaints, effectively
• Transform your residential complex into a “well managed” community

We know it is easy to lose track of what was posted / shared within your community. Your CommonFloor Groups App just got smarter. It will now tell you how many items on your newsfeed remain unread.

Managing apartment finances is a tedious task, and we strive to make it easy for you. To help you manage your apartment expenses better, we have revamped the Expense Management module of Money Manager.

What’s changed?

• Clean and intuitive interface to add expenses
• Attach files to expenses for future reference
• Simplified addition and management of service tax on expenses

What’s new?

You can now print vouchers and receipts for your expenses in a single click. This has been one of the most demanded features for Expense Management.

And finally, posting multiple Expenses within Money Manage is no more time-consuming – simply upload all expenses in one go! Download the Excel template, follow the instructions mentioned and fill up the Expenses’ details. That’s all!
