Overview :

Chandivali, a suburb of north-central Mumbai is located between Sakinaka and Powai Lake has developed rapidly in a short span of time. It also provides scenic view to its residents as it is surrounded by the Powai Hillocks on the south-east and the Powai Lake on the north. This locality is surrounded by commercial hubs such as Andheri and Powai. It is well connected to the eastern as well as western suburbs through Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road. Locality of Chandivali offers improved infrastructure and amenities. Due to presence of IT Hubs of Powai and Andheri East, a large number of IT professionals working in these localities prefer their residence in Chandivali. The locality is close to Powai, a posh neighbourhood to the north-east of Mumbai. Many official buildings of the renowned companies are situated here like the Oberoi Garden, ICICI Bank, Bayer, Colgate Palmolive, Federal Express, Crisil etc. Chandivali is very close MIDC and SEEPZ  of Andheri East. Marol, Saki Vihar, Powai, MHADA Colony, Varsha Nagar, Amrut Nagar, Barve Nagar, Asalpha, LBS Nagar, Sakinaka, Andheri East, Pant Nagar, Vikhroli East, and Kanjurmarg East are its neighbouring localities.

Connectivity :

Chandivali enjoys excellent road connectivity to both the Eastern and Western Express Highway via the Jogeshwari link road. One can easily travel to south end & north end of the city.

The BEST buses run from Chandivali Junction to key localities like Marol, Mulund, Wadala, Ghatkopar, Bandra, Borivali (East), Andheri (East) and other famous localities of Mumbai. The prominent bus stops in the area are Chandivali Studio, Tunga Village, Shipping Corporation, and Sinhgad College.

It has excellent connectivity to Chhatrapati shivaji International Airport which is located at a distance of 5 km via Andheri-Kurla Road/Sir Mathuradas Vasanji Road.

Vikhroli and Ghatkopar are two nearest railway stations to Chandivali located at a distance of 6.5 and 4.2 km respectively from where one can get the trains for Tier-1 & Tier-2. Other nearby railway station is Vidyavihar. Mumbai's major railway station, Mumbai Central, however, is about 21.4 km away via Eastern Express Highway.

Line-1 of Mumbai Metro with one of its route (Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar) passing through the localities. Chakala, Airport Road, Marol Naka, Sakinaka, Asalpha, Jagruti Nagar, and Ghatkopar are the subway stations. However, Sakinaka Metro Station is the nearest metro station to Chandivali which is located at a driving distance of 2.4 km via Khairani Road.

Proximity to Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, the commercial hub of Hiranandani Complex in Powai and easy connectivity to Saki Naka and Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) fuels demand for properties in Chandivali.

One of the main factors behind the growth of this locality is its proximity to IT and commercial hubs of Powai and Andheri East. Employees of these hubs prefer to live in Chandivali as it is close to their offices, and the area has a quiet atmosphere compared to other areas of Mumbai.
