well, technically PE funds constitutes 10% of the real estate market liquidity and after elections this is expected to rise to 50% foreseeing a stable government. but it takes about an year for the government to prove its stability.

some experts are of the opinion that this will not be a lasting phenomenon as PE investors prefers markets of mumbai, pune and the south India locations more..

Although being a metropolitan city, delhi does not have enough hosuing supply especially in the mid -market segment and so the spill of the demand goes to the NCR areas of noida, gurgaon and ghaziabad. There is a strong demand in the area and post election sentiments have fueled it.

Well the investments in the real estate sector has been quite low but now after the election results and as the people foresee a strong government at the center there are reports of rising PE investments in the sector. This is also because of the investment sentiments being upbeat of the institutional investments and PE comes under this category.
