Q:Recently BMC has inaugurated the Veravali-Yari road underground water tunnel for more water supply in Mumbai city. But the scenario is opposite. Please throw some light what exactly is the problem concerned with the water supply.
Latest Answer: Brihanmumbai municipal corporation had installed the Veravali-Yari road underground water tunnel keeping in mind to provide adequate water supply to the city. But due to come technical problems it failed to deliver its promise of 12 hours of nonstop water supply. Also there was inadequate planning of the infrastructure by the administrations.
