Q:I heard that now Goa has become a garbage free state, Goa has overcome the garbage dumping problem, What steps has been taken by the Goa goverment to solve the garbage problem in the city?
Latest Answer: Before in Goa there was a problem of disposing garbage and the garbage was left unattended for years which was also harming the health of the citizens to get rid of the garabge problem people started buring the garbage which indeed was producing harmful gases,and the village folks will also not allow to dump the garbage in their backyard so the goverment need to make some plan to deal with the issue and it is said that the Goa State Pollution Contol Board has recently issued a notice to the Corporation of the city of Panaji to stop dumping wastes in the area, it is also said to setup a dry sorting station near Hira petrol pump.
