Potholes in the city
Q: I have noticed many potholes on the roads in Mumbai.. It's very dangerous for commuters sometimes. When they will be covered? Are the road authorities not taking any measures regarding road improvement?

Latest Answer: But this will be done only in areas where Ganpati procession will be carried on, but how about the other areas in the city.. BMC has to take measures to improve them too..

Latest Answer: Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has decided to repair the roads before the monsoon. BMC is all set and ready to work on 22 bridges and more then 1000 potholes.

Q: Hai I just read about the Coles Park area pothole issue with BWSSB. Why isn't any action taken against the recovery of these potholes?

Latest Answer: Unfortunately still now no action has been taken for the recovery of the potholes. The civic body has promised that they will look into the matter to the earliest.

What are the new techniques BMC is going to be used to repair the potholes?
Q: The BMC is going to use new technology to repair the potholes and roads. Will the potholes and the roads remain the same during rainy season or it will get damage again?

Latest Answer: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation is coming up with lot of new technologies to repair the potholes. The new technique name which will fill the potholes is 'Patch Master' which can be used even in water filled potholes. The civic body is going to experiment the technique in some of the roads. BMC is also deciding on other techniques to test road bonds like Wonder patch, carbon core, eco patch, kingjet patching machine.
