Q: Mumbai city is fast growing economically and in infrastruction. We pedestrains need safety and security. Therefore foothpaths are vital for Mumbai residents.
Latest Answer: I am staying in Mumbai and we are forced to walk on the road instead of footpaths because of crumbling footpaths and many people died on the city roads. If footpaths are upgraded, made pedestrain and disable friendly then the number of accidents will come down. So i think teh BMC has taken the correct decisions to make the use of pavement complusory.
