Q: My property is located close to Auroville, in the cashew grove and while there are many 'agents' around I've heard of many experiences of people losing their property due to unscrupulous practices. , Are there reputable agents/lawyers who can HONESTLY deal with the sale should I need to leave before the property is sold?

Q: How capital gains tax is ascertained and what are rules or conditions for their exemption?
Latest Answer: Yes, Capital gain tax is always tax on profit you made by selling your property and you are liable for Capital gain tax, if you sell a residential property (after 3 years from date of purchase) and reinvest the proceeds into another residential property (within 2 years from date of sale), capital gains tax will be exempted. Q: Why there is competition between builders and investors? Why they are selling the property below market rates?

The investors first invested in properties leaving no affordable properties for buyers but now the investors are selling the property below market rates due to continuous fluctuation in the real estate market which is harming the developers' sale market.

Q: What is the reason that the real estate developers planning to rent out their property rather then selling it?
Latest Answer: Due to rise in property price and rising interest rates the real estate developers have witnessed loss as well as profits. According to developers, they have decided to rent out their property which they feel is the only workable way.
