Q: Govt. approved highway projects worth Rs 3874 crore for high way development & road extension. The project will expedite improvement of infra in Odisha and reduce the time and cost of travel for traffic, on the Singhara-Binjabahal sector.
Latest Answer: Hi Mr Santosh, Government approved highway projects worth Rs 3,873.6 crore in Odisha, Uttrakhand and Uttar Pradesh for widening various stretches under its flagship road building programme NHDP. Prime Minister has given its approval for development of the four laning of these highways stretches in Odisha, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh.

Q: The civic body was suppose to widen the Dhanvantri Road. What is the status now?
Latest Answer: A resident complains that due to the road widening work, they have to take a deviation through residential areas to reach market. People who contacted Mysore City Corporation superintending engineer said widening work was going on and it will take few more months to finish as widening includes building compound wall to KR Hospital, electrical line shifting and drainage.Traffic police said that, police personnel have been set up at Bata Junction to manage the traffic and tiger vehilces will resume patrolling soon.

Q: Hi..i am a resident of chennai...heard about Nolambur road...can anybody let me know the whole matter..?? we are also facing some similar kind of problem

Latest Answer: Hi Anoop...the road that residents of Nolambur constructed on their own is not in a good state.There is no proper road which connects Nolambur area to the main road. I think they are planning to reconstruct it. Its a good initiative by the residents but i think corporation is asking for permission. They even dug bore wells in the complex for drinking water.

Q: The court has ordered to clear five-metre area on both sides of schedule roads in Patiala. What will happen to those properties constructed long back?
Latest Answer: The MC has asked the Punjab govt. to find some alternative to support the residents.
