Delhi government is aiming to build 27,000 flats for economically weaker section (EWS) and low income group (LIG). According to a senior government official, the project is within the initial stage and is being written by the city Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUISB). The proposal aims at creating 27,000 flats beneath Self Financing scheme (SFS) in Bhalswa and Savda Ghevra space of Mundka in west city.
