Latest Answer: Hi Lokesh..This research was commissioned by Save Chennai Beaches Campaign and was run by faculty members of various institutions like Indian Institute of Science. They found that many beaches like Srinivasapuram beach, beach at Adyar river, Kapaleeswarar Nagar beach etc have been occupied by the corporation by dumping debris and then they are converting into parking spaces and roads.
