The BJP have also promised improve the connectivity of the city by widening roads from Bangalore to Mysore, and also increased the number of railway lines. In their manifesto, they plan to add the horticulture and floriculture sector, by adding cold storage and refrigeration facilities. There are also plans add a Bus Rapid Transport System (BRTS) to the city. They want to make Mysore software hub which will be another option other than Bangalore. They have also plans to get a high speed train which will connect Bangalore and Mysore which will take only 30 minutes to travel between the cities, which will be awesome.
