Latest Answer: The NICE ring road project, which was started to improve connectivity between Bengaluru and Mysore, ironically never reached Mysore City. An important link road connecting Tumkur, Mysore, Magadi, and Hosur Roads, is ready. The road connecting this link road with Mysore SH 17 was not able to finish due to the dispute, which is thankfully resolved now.

Latest Answer: yeah, in my opinion, the airport should be expanded as fast as possible because if it does not do so, Mysore will lose out to other cities. even though NHAI is stern on upgrading the highway, i think they have plans to start the upgradation of NH 212 from Kadakola by sparing the land that is required for the airport expansion.
