Latest Answer: Hi All, Ahmedabad's population is six million plus and as per the estimate, considering scientific population projection methods by Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA), the city is ready to strike the population figure of eight million plus after ten years.Considering the above mentioned parameters and vision of central government of making Smart Cities, the zoning is finally done in Development Plan, 2021 of Ahmedabad which consists of R1, R2, R3 zones, CBD area, R-AH zone, Industrial and Agriculture zone etc.

Latest Answer: As per different sources, smart city could offer piped natural gas connections to residents. A world class cricket stadium would be developed and cricketer Harbhajan Singh would be a part of it. The township is coming in the vicinity of the proposed Lucknow Metro Rail route from Lucknow to Charbagh railway station. The Metro project has already revved up real estate segment in the area with property prices moving north in anticipation of further appreciation once Metro Rail starts chugging.

Latest Answer: Hi Mr Akash, In my point of view, the programme will begin with a baseline survey to assess the demand for such housing and identify resource requirements. As per the present assessment, Mumbai will need a maximum of 16 lakh such houses, Delhi's requirement will be over six lakh while Kolkata and Chennai will need four lakh such houses each.

Latest Answer: Mr Ravindra, As per different sources, the recent JDA survey of 30 such projects says majority of developers failed to implement the policy. Before the amendment it was mandatory for the builders to leave provision for houses of these categories in the main project. Recently, a committee was constituted to inspect and prepare factual ground report whether developers have adhered to the provisions of township policy, 2010 and provided houses to poor people.

He had also referred to sub-optimal performance in respect of promoting reforms, physical targets and resource mobilization under the urban renewal mission.
