Latest Answer: What I have to say is that we have tried several times to find the variation in the tax collections but the GHMC Alwal division has not come forward with any satisfactory replies. We now plan to raise the issue during the Monday Praja Vani. The tax department always states ‘ask the deputy commissioner’ and vice versa. GHMC is only acting against the orders.

Latest Answer: The rates were fixed without a proper survey. The property tax surveyors were managed by the bigwigs but the ones without political clout are suffering. The people were not given information on the calculation of sft. In the GHMC, the rates are decided based on the area, in prime areas, the rates are different.

Latest Answer: It is ironical that the Centre has budgeted for a fiscal deficit of 3.9 per cent of the GDP in 2015-16 but states are being asked to limit it to 3 per cent. A revenue surplus state like Telangana should be allowed to take loans up to 4 per cent of GSDP. This is what I think.

Latest Answer: Oh yeah that's true. Recently, one incident occured as part of this. Two garbage bins were installed in front of State Bank of India at Karwan and locked the gate of the bank’s premises and prevented bank authorities from functioning, thereby causing inconvenience to the bank’s account holders.

I think there will be an effort by the investigating officer to inspect a considerable number of dwellings by undertaking door-to-door verification.
