Condition of the Ukkadam Lake
Q: Whats the present condition of the Ukkadam lake? Heard some negative things about it. Im moving into the nearby locality, and I wanted to know about it in general. Just any problems that I should be aware of?

Latest Answer: All the sewage from the whole city has been dumped in these lakes over many years due to lack of choice. Cleaning up the channels requires a huge investment and is a long process, and the developmental authorities arent showing any initiative.

Latest Answer: The problem is also in the corporation. They did not provide amenities to dump residential wastes, and now it ends up getting dumped in the water.
