Overview
Sus is a developed residential locality situated north-western parts of Pune. It is a newly developed locality after the expansion of Pune city limits in the late 1990s. This locality comes under the jurisdiction of Pune Municipal Corporation. Sus is a residential and commercial suburb and is only 16 km from the Rajiv Gandhi IT Park at Hinjewadi which houses several global IT companies like Synechron, Infosys, Geometric Software, KPIT Cummins, Wipro, Siemens, Tech Mahindra, IBM, TCS and Cognizant. All the daily basic needs are situated at a stone throw away distance. Baner, Pashan, Pimple Nilakh, Pimple Saudagar, Lavale, Bavdhan, Nande, Aundh, Dasar, Wakad, Hinjewadi, Balewadi etc. are the prominent localities situated close to Sus. The Sus Road is all around associated with the vital streets and areas. Manny govt and private schools have been set up in Sus.

Connectivity
Sus Road is the major road that connects Sus in Mulshi Taluka to the suburb of Pashan in Pune. NH 48 and AH 47 are located at a distance of 6 km via Sus Road.

Sus offers smooth connectivity to the main parts of the city via both road and rail. The Sus Road is well-connected to important roads and localities. The Katraj - Dehu Road Bypass intersects Road halfway, enabling easy connectivity to Pimpri-Chinchwad and the Mumbai - Expressway.

Pune International Airport which is located at a distance of 26.9 km via Lohegaon Road.

Dapodi, Khadki, Shivajinagar, Pune Junction are nearby railway stations to Sus. However, Pune Junction is the major and the nearest railway station to Sus located at a driving distance of 14 km via Pashan Road.
 

The bus services of Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) connect it to other areas like Aundh, Pimple Saudagar and Pimple Nilakh.

Factors for past growth
Its proximity to Pune International Airport, Pune Junction railway station along with major IT Park of Hinjewadi has been a plus point for the workforce, working in those firms. They want their residence close to their workplace. As a result, huge residential demand and development have seen in the past.

The demand for real estate properties in Sus is developing rapidly as area enjoys close proximity to the IT Park of Hinjewadi (The Rajiv Gandhi IT Park, Hinjewadi). Presence of new social infrastructures like colleges, schools and hospitals has also contributed to the growth of the residential real estate property in the area.
