Overview :
Ulsoor is one of the oldest city neighborhoods in the city of Bangalore. It is located in Central Bangalore and starts from the eastern terminus of M G Road. This locality is well known for its numerous temples and rather narrow streets. The famous Ulsoor lake which is one of the biggest lake in Bangalore falls under this locality. It is very close to M G Road. CMH Road, Cambridge Road, Ulsoor Road and Old Madras Road are its neighboring areas. CMH Road has several fashion outlets and supermarkets and is the main shopping area for the residents of Ulsoor and the neighbouring Indiranagar. Ulsoor is well-connected to other major locations of Bangalore via a network of road and rail.

East Railway Station is only 8 minutes from Ulsoor while Cantt Railway station is just 9 minutes away.
In addition to road and rail connectivity, Metro rail service is also available. Ulsoor metro station (located on Old Madras Road at the end closer to CMH Road) and Trinity metro station (located at trinity circle) are located in Ulsoor.
