Special workshops will be conducted in collaboration with NGOs and rainwater harvesting experts. Since every housing society has different kind of requirements, it is necessary to suggest different RWH models to them. According to experts, every 1,000 sq ft of constructed area can harvest 70,000 litres and every acre of open area can harvest 25 lakh litre during the rainy season.

Even I heard that some of the people are making fake promises to get no objection certificates (NOC) from authorities without installing the RWH system. What action BWSSB going to take in this situation?
Latest Answer: Even I also heard that many residents of Bangalore are paying money to the braggers as they made fake promise that they will get them no objection certificate from the authority without installing RWH system. BWSSB served a notice to be aware of the contractors who are promising NOC's for a price and the BWSSB said that individual inspection will be done from December 31st onwards inspite of getting the NOC's.
