Latest Answer: Hi , As per sources, the following hearing about the case is scheduled for mid-October, with the committees anticipated that would present their reports before that. NGT had before requested development of a seven-member committee to test infringement of its prohibition on groundwater extraction in Noida and Greater Noida, taking after a CGWB report indicating rapid decrease in groundwater levels in both locations.

Latest Answer: The GDA is planning a single window clearance system so that the approvals time for projects can be reduced. They further plan to develop a common centre for not just Ghaziabad but also Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway; infact a committee has already been formed to study the process and streamline the procedure.
