Q:I heard that there is some metro line planned at Delhi which will be built under an existing metro line. Is it true? How it will be done? Any info in this regard will be appreciated.
Latest Answer: The new Hauz Khas station is emerging as a prime metro hub as it provides good connectivity between Metro lines between Gurgaon (Huda City Centre-Jahangirpuri) and Noida, thus decreasing the travel time of commuters commuting between Noida and Gurgaon.
Latest Answer: The SWR suggested an alternate alignment as to have a bridge across all ten platforms of the station and would end at the extreme end of the Mysore platform. Each platform would also have a landing that would cost lesser and was simpler. The alignment was estimated to cost about 3-4 crore.
