It is expected to connect the various business- residential districts of Bangalore without having to travel through the current traffic mess.

Latest Answer: Tumkur road is already booming due to the planned national investment and manufacturing zone (NIMZ) which would be a 5,000 hectare integrated industrial township. The Bangalore-Mumbai corridor crossing through Tumkur Road will be an add on to its growth. The shifting of the Peenya industrial belt to Dobbaspet in west Bangalore is also going to help the western front picking up its industrial activity.

Latest Answer: As per the National Housing Bank RESIDEX index for the July-September 2012 Quarter compared to April-June 2012 covering almost 20 cities, with 2007 as base year, there was a decline in the property price in some small towns, while the increase in other cities is mostly marginal. With the increasing urbanization, the demand for housing in cities has been growing over the years.

Q: How much they are planning to invest in Bangalore and what type of projects they are looking for invest in?
Latest Answer: So the smaller developers are seeking funds from tap non-banking financial companies for money. Those small and mid sized developers are in great need for capital for various reasons. Pragnya invests in residential projects. Last year, it invested Rs.118 crore in a residential project in Chennai that is being developed by VGN Developers Pvt. Ltd. The company is planning to use the remaining capital of around $ 25 million from its second fund in 3-4 projects, mainly in residential project in southern part of India. Pragnya is going to sell most of its investments this year.
