Q:Hi guys, I read something about an imminent railway project that would directly connect Mysore and Varanasi. What's the juice on this one? ANyone knows?
Latest Answer: Yes. Supposedly there are two trains released for this initiative. While one tran leaves on Tuesday, the other leaves on Thursday reaching the final destination in Varanasi on Thursday and Saturday respectively which is great as there are a lot of retired people around here in Mysore and their journey has been shortened.

Bangalore-Mysore Infrastructure Corridor also known as NICE Corridor, it is a 111 km long proposed four to six-lane private tolled expressway that intends to connect Bangalore and Mysore. It is expected to get commissioned by March 2016.
