Q: Hi there, I recently came across a news that the realtors and builders are giving discounts and offers to the buyers. Is it true? How is it beneficial to the buyers?
Latest Answer: As a builder, I think because of the very tight competition which is ever growing, there has been many builders who are concentrating in this small city. Because of this, there has been a slight drop in the flat and apartment sales, and it is a matter of concern. Even though the builders are floating schemes to attract buyers, in the long run, it wont be profitable option for us.

Q: What is the condition of Kochi real estate at the moment? I think its not a good market for those who want to sell off property? Guys please discuss. Should I invest in Kochi or not?
Latest Answer: Yeah, some sewerage plant, and we can only know the price of these properties once that is completed. But the authority is not too excited about these studio apartments either, they think it will be hard for them to find takers for these too.

Q: Hey I’m a smalltime real estate agent in Kochi. I’m thinking why the market is going down in Kochi. Nobody is interested in buying property anymore. Does it look like the market situation might be improving now or soon in the near future?

Latest Answer: The overall cost of real estate in Kochi has increased by 40% in the last couple of years. And right now the only clients for this market are the NRIs, who constitute about 60% of the total investors in Kochi.
