A total of 105 acres of land has to be acquired to widen the road. 35 of the 70 persons whose land has to be acquired have already given letters of consent and the compensation amount will be handed over. Latest Answer: The revenue expected this fiscal is Rs. 921.54 crore while the expenditure is Rs. 881.87 crore. The council decided to spend Rs. 4.5 crore for the 40-feet road in Palluruthy and Rs. 1.6 crore for Poyisha Road at Edappally.

Q: Hello, Have the Kochi Metro Authority taken relevant steps to divert traffic now that the metro work is crowding up the roads?
Latest Answer: You know what it is really not an easy decision for the corporation. The corporation faces a tough situation. While one section of public complain against traffic congestion another protests against losing their livelihood. Even though we removed the hawkers they would return soon.
