Q: Hi, a friend told me that the government is planning to restrict the Siruvani water supply since there will be water shortage during the summer. Is it true?
Latest Answer: I think this is a realy wise move from the corporations side since water level in other reservoirs in the region like Aliyar, Amaravathi, Sholayar, Thirumurthi reservoirs has dipped considerably. So saving all the water that we can must be a big priority.

Q: Has water supply improved in the city recently? I think it has. How come guys?
Latest Answer: I heard from my friends that they used to have water issues, but now it is fine. So I am guessing it has been worked upon as too many people were complaining regarding the same.

Q: What’s the status of the Siruvani water facility? Im going to be buying a house in Coimbatore soon, and this sweet water is basically one of the things that is attracting me here.

Latest Answer: Last I heard the reservoir was holding around 878.51 m which is approx 49.57 feet of water. This was at the beginning of Aug, I think the water quantity might have gone down a bit, because Aug didnt see as much rain as July. But still its quite a lot.
