Q: Guys, I currently have a second home in the outskirts of the city. We use it for recreational purposes. Whenever we go we get a tank for the house for drinking water. It’ll just be so much more convenient if they do that.
Latest Answer: Oh right! Man, the current area you stay, ramanathapuram gets water from this scheme only. Good thing they at least thought of it. Funnily, having lived in Chennai for over 10 years, I have never once visited Coimbatore, and I’m so clueless about most of the things in this city. My company is going to give me a flat in some place called Avinashi Road. Thanks guys!

Q: I want to know if the locality of Ramanathapuram has any illegal constructions problem here. I’ve zeroed in on this locality for investment.
Latest Answer: Yeah, my friend lives there and he said that all the residents of that colony had actually gone up to the corporation commissioner and demanded that something be done about this situation. According to the local RWA body, the society tricked them into thinking that they were building a community hall for the resident. Then they claimed that it was a school. Eventually they didn’t build either of those, and just erected this structure. They have their office there and three rooms here have also been rented out.

Q: I have 2 children and I'm relocating to Saravanampatti with them. But I heard about the recent dangers of the abandoned wells that have no safety measures? What is the situation now?
Latest Answer: Actually what happened was, in April a 23 year old boy went swimming in the tank with a couple of minors who were in school. He didn't use of the thermocol floats that the other boys were using and as a result, he drowned. The others tried their best to rescue him but nothing helped. They decided to keep this a secret but eventually they told their teacher what had happened and his body was uncovered from the well. These situations should be avoided, it is just so unfortunate. Even a 3 year old boy drowned in a water storage tank right behind his mother who had just turned her back on him for a second. Not many people in Coimbatore are used to swimming so they shouldn't try all these things and risk their lives. But now action has been taken and these tanks and well will definitely not be accessible to the public anymore.

Q: How is the garbage disposal system in Coimbatore? I’ll be investing in real estate there, so I wanted to know how the waste disposal system is. Anybody has any information?
Latest Answer: Hey, yeah you’re right about that solid waste management system that was started in Coimbatore. But it hasn’t been too effective as of yet. The funds allocated haven’t been enough apparently, all the citizens have not yet received the white and green garbage bins, there is a shortage of garbage pushcarts and garbage bins on the roads. Also, the number of vehicles that the system thought of employing for the transmit and dumping of garbage is not enough. There is Rs 45 lacs more that the Union Government allocated this project, which will be used soon enough to make the whole system better.

Q: I was interested in buying a plot to build my own dream house. Should I invest in the Anmol Whispering Meadows property? Does anyone have any extra information on this project?

The smallest plot of 1300 square feet costs Rs. 7.18 lacs, the medium plot size of 1742 square feet costs Rs 9.58 lacs, and the largest plot size of 2177 square feet costs Rs 12 lacs. The property already has home loan approvals from all major banks, so you should easily be able to get approval for a home loan in order to invest in any of these plots.
