Q: Hi team need to know more about Vanikaran ZONE , is such land covered under this zone can transferred in to name of individual, if I purchase land here what restriction we have to follow and how much sq ft we can built
Latest Answer: Hello Mahendra, In Maharashtra, only an agriculturist can purchase agriculture land. If you willing to purchase agricultural land, you will need prior permission of collector of that area. Transfer to non-agriculturist prohibited under section-63. No sale, gift, exchange or lease of any land shall be valid in favor of a person who is not an agriculturist.

Q: Can we develop or build on Vanikaran land in Pune area? Also can we sell it by making plots of certain size? Suppose I have land of around 3 acres comes under Vanikaran land.So can I make plots of 10 gunthas each and sale it ?

Latest Answer: I appreciate the advice of Anand, If the land is required for cultivating it by a personally by a person, who, not being an agriculturist, and ready to take to the profession of agriculture and to whom collector has given certificate that such person is intend to take to the profession of agriculture and is capable of cultivating land personally; or Such land is being sold in execution of order of a civil court, or recovering arrear of land revenue.
