In Maharashtra, only an agriculturist can purchase agriculture land. If you willing to purchase agricultural land, you will need prior permission of collector of that area.
Transfer to non-agriculturist prohibited under section-63.
No sale, gift, exchange or lease of any land shall be valid in favor of a person who is not an agriculturist.
