Q: Hi, i own 3bhk tower 3 403 flat. The finish (tiles and wall) is pathatic. I am surprised that dugars first project and a famous builder like GK SHETTY can deliver such poor quality. All other owners, please comment and we may need to take it up with the promotors together

Latest Answer: Dear Mr Vasu, Still possession of the flat in given though letters have been sent by Dugar the flat is ready. There are lot of issues unresolved we need to meet as a Form to discuss and chart plan of action and take up with Dugar.

No Service Tax to be charged by Dugar Housing
Q: Dugar housing has engaged GK Shetty builders as contractors and they have to charge Service tax on their billing to Dugar housing, and Dugar Housing has no further liability to charge service tax on the consideration received from the buyers who purchased the residential property from them.

Hence it is very clear Service Tax is not chargable by Dugar Housing.
This point is also mentioned in attached Circular No. 108/02/2009 – ST

Latest Answer: Dear Raj & Madhu, There is one more article came in hindu stating reduction of Service Tax, Basis that i spoke with the Admin office at Dugar (Egmore) they said its not yet ammended / approved by Tamil Nadu Government. So I don't think you can claim this.
