Switch to Solar Powered Lighting for all lightings in society common area. This will reduce your monthly energy consumtion as well as reduces emission of carbon dioxide to atmosphere

Instead of bottled water get a reusable container to carry water. Also you can get a filter to make your home tap taste more like bottled water. It is definitely more cost efficient.

We must switch to LCD monitors and TVs at home and at work as these consume less energy and are far less harmful to human eyes and body by virtue of their reduced emissions. The costs have also come down these days.

We were not used to AC s 20 yrs ago.Don't buy AC for any purpose. Start using tulasi plats.Keep one tulasi plant in your car ,and put tulasi leaves in your drinking water. to fight various breathing disorders.
Don't encourage any decoration light ,either in the temple or in any fucntion and marriages.

At 2 cents per paper napkin your family can save $1.68 a week by switching to cloth. The paper industry contributes to forest clear cutting which results in erosion, sedimentation of streams and loss of habitat. Paper mills then use chlorine bleach to get paper it's whitest, releasing dioxins and mercury in waterways. Forgoing paper napkins also helps cut down on trash in landfills--about 40% of which is paper.
