As for my apartment of 2000SFT and 1 covered car park of 180 SFT, if the betterment charge is on flat SFT then it seems I have to pay 1.2 Lakhs to BBMP to get Khata A? The BBMP has decided to collect Rs 550 per square meter or Rs 51.12 approximately per square feet of DC converted properties or land which are combined into the BBMP and issue Khata.
But for resident apartment owners in my case, we have a OC from BDA, we have been told by 1 BBMP tax inspector to pay per flat? Is that correct as this seems exploitation? 1 to 1.5 Lakhs to get KHATA A does not sound correct?
