Flat Registry on Built up area or carpet area
Q: Hi All, Can anyone please let me know about the flat registry rules?? My builder is quoting that he will do registry on carpet area whereas I am paying for builtup area i.e. Builtup area = 1161 sq ft Carpet area = 870 sq ft Price Payable = 1161 * 2400 = 2786400 So the registry of the flat should quote what carpet area 870 sq ft or builtup area 1161 sq ft??

Hi Asmita, Registry of the flat is done for buildup area not in carpet area.So the registry of the flat should quote upon built up area 1161 sq ft.
Thanks Aditya!! By any chance do you have any idea where I can check on some gov website or regulations known.. so that I can show it to the builder??
