Latest Answer: The Connected load is the total load that a consumer can impose on the electrical system if everything was connected at one time. Sanctioned load is the total load sanctioned on electrical system by concerned authority (BESCOM). BESCOM penalizes if unauthorized load is either not removed or extra sanctioned load is not obtained.You can apply for temporary supply or extra connected load in a prescribed form to the O & M Section / Sub-Division Office of the Licensee. No registration fee needed. You have to pay Rs 50 service charges per Installation and advance estimated power consumption charges at the prevailing rate.
