What is Gram panchayat Tax?
Q: I was asked to pay gram panchayat tax in cash, which is not mentioned in my booking agreement. Also builder has charged me the S.T. If the property lies in gram panchayat, why was that not informed earlier, he said this law has came recently. please guide...

Latest Answer: Gram Panchayat Tax is a annual tax or property tax. ST or service tax is levied on under-constructions properties.
