There should not be any problem but the builder should have proper documents for installing the transformer. Q: Protection of columns and beams in apartments :I understand that it it not allowed to drill holes or make alterations in columns that are load bearing. Please confirm the same and the norms relating to the same.As the Secretary of the Association, I told a member that he was not allowed to drill in the columns and attach protective chains to his car park area. Am I violating his right ? Can i insist that he can do the same by installing two pipes on either side and fixing the chain on these pipes instead of damaging the columns which carry the load of the entire building at the ground floor level?Could any member or professional civil engineer help me with norms in this regard? Q: I suggest M/S Ramaniyam Builder may hold a meeting of all Ganga colony old owners and sort out all issues amicably. There are lot of misunderstandings between some old owners and M/S Ramaniyam Builders. I feel if a meeting is called by Ramaneium it will give positive sign.
