Yes Shilpa, I agree with you. We should pay the electricity charges only when the flat has been handed over to us. If we are not the owner of the flat then there is no point of paying the charges. If you are the owner of the flat and for some reason the flat is left unoccupied then also you have to pay the maintenance charges.Yes Shilpa, I agree with you. Q: Who collect the maintenance cash in your flats. We have our watchman who give the montly statement and collect maintenence cash submit to the secreatary and provie receipt for the cash paid. Also, he is not obedient he stays along with his family (wife and son) in our flats. Please suggest the way to collect maintenence and substitute for watchman say for example using security guard.

The builder has given us the cost break up which has Rs.2,62,000.00 as service tax and VAT on the property which cost Rs.32Lakhs (basic cost + car parking).
