The Owner of the house has purchased the land in his mother's name(must be over 65 years oldnow) in the year 2000 and constructed a three floor house in 2010. We stayed in individual house for 10 months. As per the agreement, 1 month before we vacate this room we should inform the room owner and according we informed our room owner with 1 month prior notice. Now my room owner is saying unless tenants come to this house he cant return our advance money. He is asking us to vacate this room and after that when tenant will pay him advance money then only he will return it. We also told unless u return our money we won't vacate this house and he told then again you have to pay extra money for that. In that design they showed that the super built-up area is 1505 sq-feet and it includes ventilation space also. Between two toilets, before windows of those houses there was some space for ventilation. They are including that area also in super built-up area. Since we are not going to use that ventilation space are they supposed to charge for that ventilation area (duct area) also? For the 3BHK house, cost is 50 lakhs without registration. The builder said if we pay black money cost can be reduced upto 1 lakh. Is it advisable to pay black money for getting any house? What would be pros and cons of that black money?
