Hi, I have booked my flat in Building -1 in May 2010 and now it's more than 2 years. I was promised to get possession in May 2011 but till date the construction is not over. When will I get my possession?

I recently visited the site and was quite impressed with the amount of work completed.
Only pending work is
- Electric Meter
- Drinking water connection
- Lift
Mr. Bhavin from the Builders side informed that the pending work will be completed in next 2-3 months.
Hopefully by Jan 2014 we should get the possession.
Also he mentioned that there is some Govt. VAT need to be paid before the possession. Any idea on this? How much would be the amount for 2BHK 990 Sq. Ft. flat? Any suggestion please.
