Q: I am a software engineer working in ITPL. A friend of mine suggested me that properties are available at lesser rate in Varthur. Is it true? Is it good to invest in that area? As I see there is no good development happening. Roads are congested and no good facilities. Can you guys help me out?

Its just an illusion that varthur is not developed.. future lies in varthur as the the PRR goes through it and it is very reachable to (1) White field IT companies (2) ORR IT parks like Cisco, VTV., INTEL,honeywell, ECOspace.. And also it connects the electronic city roads.. It will be a very good decision to invest in Varthur and surrounding areas.. just think little bit beyond how a few roads look like... The Lake is huge advantage.. There wont be any water problem at all.. even during summer... its beginning to be the development hub after marathahalli, whitefield... Prices in this area might even double 3-4 years down the line.., It will be a nice decision to invest in and around varthur Its just an illusion that varthur is not developed.. future lies in varthur as the the PRR goes through it and it is very reachable to (1) White field IT companies (2) ORR IT parks like Cisco, VTV., INTEL,honeywell, ECOspace..
